The food and the drinks are incredible. The Smoked Salmon Tartine was absolutely delicious and had wonderful, bright flavors, a stunning presentation, and the lemon ricotta was perfection. Every part of the dish felt harmonious. My companion had the Farro Bowl. The flavors were earthy and nuanced, and a sweetness blossomed on the palate from the roasted turnip, which contrasted expertly with the black garlic vinaigrette. We also ordered a side of the grits. The grits were perfect. Nice and cheesey, drizzled with chive oil, and not watery; I'd be hard-pressed to think of better. The Bloody Marietta was excellent, and The Wren was refreshing, while delivering a welcome kick.
Welcome addition to the downtown brunch scene. Opened by a seasoned restauranteer so they understand food and service. I went for a soft opening and everything was on point. Delicious food. Fantastic service.
I can't say enough about the fabulous Blackbird restaurant. The Drunken Mussels were delicious. Our server was super helpful. We loved the Sunday night Drag Show. We hope the show returns. We will definitely dine here again.
Wonderful space! A MUST USE Venue for this spring and summer time events. Friendly staff and WONDERFUL food. God check these guys out. Close walk from the Georgia aquarium.
The food, the atmosphere, very chill spot. The food was the absolute best.
Great food. Quivk service. Beautiful presentation. And the waffles and bourbon syrup are the bomb!
One of Atlanta’s Jewels!! My friend and I ate here for breakfast. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture. Our waiter provided outstanding service!! Great location, friendly service, delicious food!
Excellent cafe! Walked right in. Waitress was excellent, food was quick and wonderful. Happened up on it, glad we did!
First impression: Very Cozy & chill spot to do breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. I was with a party of 8 and the wait for food did take quite some time (due to being understaffed) However, the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I’m talking about food so good that when you take a bite, it makes you start bouncing to an unheard beat! I would definitely recommend this place and definitely go again. Rating would be 5 stars but again, the wait was a bit long. Understandable however being that it was a busy weekend in downtown with a cheerleading event happening less than a mile away. The restaurant randomly caught an influx of hungry patrons. ðŸ‘ðŸ¾ðŸ‘ðŸ¾
Austin was amazing; knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. It is very hard to find superior customer service these days. We are a party of 4 and about to leave because the menu looked limited. He immediately started describing the menu items, and made recommendations. Because of him, we stayed. He should train other servers!
What a great place. Such an amazing atmosphere. Food was absolutely impeccable
We visited Blackbird on a Sunday morning as out of town guests. It was a short walk from our hotel and right behind the aquarium. When we arrived at 10:30, there was only one other table of diners. We were seated right away, our server was very helpful, and we both decided to get the chicken and waffles. Portion size was perfect and I am obsessed with their tea brined fried chicken. I'm going to try to recreate it back home!
Went with a group of friends. Lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. Our server, Shamar was very accommodating and helpful! Highly recommend!!
Five to ten minute wait at the bar for our party of 5. Brunch was very tasty. I had shrimp & grits which was not very spicy but seasoned well; my wife had the duck confit with gold Yukon potatoes and a fried egg on top. The other 3 in our party had the french toast with apple compote & bacon. The bacon appeared a little fatty, but otherwise our meals were delicious and filling! Service was excellent and the decor & atmosphere was comfortable for conversation. We will return to the Blackbird. 5 stars!
The Spinach omelet was very good. Flavor was on point but the portions are small and the chicken left something to be desired. That being said the place is new and I think they need time to organize and get it together because it took quite some time to get out food after ordering . The space was very nicely designed and the arts events space was pretty awesome. They need time to establish though.
I ordered the creole tagliatelle shrimp pasta. Everything about this dish was perfect. The ambiance is amazing in this cozy loft, chef Matthew is most likely the coolest person on earth and Jared is one of the best servers I've ever had. Prices are very reasonable. This was such a memorable experience and I will definitely be back soon. Thanks guys ðŸ˜â¤ï¸
My husband and I went for brunch looking for mimosas. The pineapple mimosa was AMAZING. The food was to die for and to top it all off our waiter austin deserves 5 stars himself. So kind and loved all the suggestions he had. Would 100% come back for the food but the service is what would make us come back time and time again.
We had an excellent brunch! Great food and equally as good and friendly service. We had the french toast and grits with sausage—both were excellent.
I absolutely loved the laid back atmosphere and the servers were extremely nice! The food was outstanding. It was a great place for Sunday brunch, no doubt!!!
